A number of companies have released details of tiny handheld projectors over the last few months, none have managed to get one released as yet, that is until now, 3M has beaten other manufacturers to it with the launch of the 3M MPro110 Handheld Projector.
Check out this cool gadget, the double sided touch screen display from Japanese company Teraokaaseiko.
The double sided touch screen display features transparent inorganic EL panel technology, and it can be used on both sides at the same time.

Digital photo frames aren’t exactly exciting, you can display your photos on them, play some MP3’s or videos on certain models, but that is about it, well LG has the answer with their new DP889 portable digital photo frame with its very own built in DVD player.
Sony has added a new TV to its Bravia line up, the latest edition isn’t a 60 Inch LCD, its a 4 inch waterproof portable TV designed for your bathroom.
The Sony Bravia XDV-W600 Portable TV features a 4 inch display, and is fully waterproof, it can be submerged in water up to 3 feet for 30 minutes.

Sony has launched the World’s thinnest LCD TV, the KDL-40ZX1.
The KDL-40ZX1 measures just 9.9mm thick, and has LED Backlighting, a contrast ratio of 3,000: 1 , 120hz MotionFlow for improved image quality in fast-moving sequences and Bravia Engine 2, it also has a viewing angle of 178 degrees.

LG has launched a new LCD monitor, which they are claiming is the worlds most energy efficient.
The LG Flatron W2252TE is a 22 inch LCD with a resolution of 1680 x 1050 and a contrast ratio of 10,000 to 1.
This new energy efficient LCD uses 45% less power than existing LCD’s, which is a great saving.
The LG Flatron W2252TE will go on sale in the UK in August, there is no word on pricing as yet.

Check out this new gaming monitor for Eizo, the FlexScan HD2452W.
It features a 24 inch widescreen display and is designed specifically for gamers.
The Eizo Flexscan HD2452W features a contrast ratio of 1000:1, dual HDMI, DVI-D HDCP, D4-Video, S-Video, D-SUB, a component port and a 24p true cinema mode.
This new monitor is ideal for PC gamers as well as PS3, Xbox3600 and Wii fans.
It will go on sale in Japan in June for around $1,260, there is no word on when we will see it in the US and Europe.

Samsung has unveiled a new 82 inch LCD TV.
This new TV features a resolution of 3,840 x 2,160 and a 120HZ refresh rate and it displays Ultra Definition pictures ate 120 frames per second.
It also features a red, green and blue backlight to raise the true colour saturation to 150 percent, based on the NISC standard of 100 percent.
“This 82-inch LCD is large enough to cover all viewing angles with ultra-definition resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate that will allow viewers to watch motion pictures as if they are really in them,†said Sang Soo Kim, executive vice president of the LCD Technology Center at Samsung Electronics. “It is the optimal display for future TVs.â€
There is no word on pricing or availability as yet, but you can bet it won’t be cheap.

LG has developed a tiny new circular LCD display designed to be used in mobile phone watches.
This tiny LCD display is just 1.4″ with a diameter of 35.5mm. The display features 262,000 colours and has a 160 degree viewing angle.
Although this is in the early stages of development at the moment, I am sure we can expect to see this in mobile phone watches in the future.
From the looks of the display we will be able to have standard sized watches with a built in mobile phone using this display, unlike the bulky mobile phone watches available today.

LG has released a new 20.1 inch widescreen monitor the Flatron LX206WU.
This new monitor features a USB connection and you can run up to 6 of these monitors from one graphics card via the USB, which is great if you want a multi monitor display setup.
It also has 2 USB ports and a 5000:1 contrast ration and a 2ms response time.
No word on pricing or availability as yet.
