Samsung has launched a new compact LED projector, the Samsung Sp-P410M.
The Samsung SP-P410M has a 170 ANSI Lumen’s brightness rating, and can support resolution up to 1290 x 1024 in SXGA or 800 x 600 in SVGA, it also features a 1000:1 contrast ratio.
Mimo has updated its mini USB monitor with a new model, the Mimo 710-S ‘Mobile Slider’ version.
The new Mimo 710-S USB monitor features a new clamshell design, which makes it more portable and easier to carry around, and it is now foldable into the stand which means it is protected when you are carrying it about.
Acer has launched two now monitors which are designed to use less power than standard LCD monitors, both of these new green LCDs use 36% less power than previous Acer models.
There is a 19 inch version, the V193WBbmd and the V223WBbmd which is a 22 inch version. both of these new green LCD monitors feature a 10,000:1 contrast ratio, a 5ms response time and a 200cd/M2 brightness rating.
Samsung has added a new monitor to its range with the launch of the Samsung VC240 LCD Monitor.
The Samsung VC240 LCD Monitor is a 24 inch monitor, with a built in 5 megapixel webcam which can be used for HD video conferencing.
According to Casio, their latest projector, the Casio XJ-S43W Super Slim Projector, is the World’s slimmest, measuring in at just 1.69 inches thick and wieghing in at just 4lbs.
BenQ has launched a tiny projector measuring just 136 x 54 x 120mm and weighing in at just 640g, which makes it almost as small as some of the handheld models we have seen, the BenQ GP1 3LED Projector.
NEC has launched their new 43 inch curved LCD monitor the NEC CRV43, and from the looks of the photos this would be great for gaming.
The NEC CRV43 features a resolution of 2880 x 900, a 10,000:1 contrast ratio, USB 2.0 connectivity, a DVI-D and HDMI 1.3 connections, and it provides a 32:10 aspect ratio.
LG has released details of a new ultra thin TV, which they are calling the World’s thinnest LCD TV.
This new LCD TV is just 6mm thick, and it will come in a choice of either 42 of 47 inches, it features an 8ms response time and LG’s TruMotion 120Hz video smoothing technology.
Could this be the World’s thinnest plasma TV, measuring just 1mm thick, I would say it comes pretty close.
This new plasma TV by Japan’s Shinoda Plasma is two metres tall by 3 metres wide, and just 1mm thick, whilst being extremely thin, it isn’t light weighing in at around 200 pounds.
Sony has added a new LCD TV to its Bravia range, with the launch of of the Sony Bravia Z5500.
The Sony Bravia Z5500 features 200hz Motionflow, which ups the frame rate to 200fps, and this together with Sony’s Image Blur Reduction technology provides sharp fast moving images with smooth motion.

Bang & Olufsen has released details of their latest plasma TV, the Bang & Olufsen 4-103 BeoVision.
The Bang & Olufsen 4-103 BeoVision is a massive 103 inches, with a resolution of 1920 x 1080, it features Bang & Olufsen’s VisionClear technology which automatically adjusts the colours and brightness, and the TV automatically re-calibrates itself every 120 hours.
