There are plenty of devices on the market that will help you see what tomorrows weather will be, but not that many that allow you to feel what tomorrows weather will be like.Now a new concept is being developed called the Cryoscope that has been designed to enable you to feel tomorrows weather with your fingertips.

The new Cryoscope Haptic Weathervane has been created by Robb Godshaw, an industrial design student at Rochester Institute of Technology. Watch the video after the jump to see it in action.

WiGig High Speed Short Range SD Cards Demonstrated, Transferring DVD’s In Just 60 Seconds

Panasonic has this week been demonstrating its new WiGig SD memory cards that have been designed to provide a simple solution for short-range high speed data transfers. The new WiGig gigabit wireless communications technology has been under development for some time and was first featured back in June 2011 here on Geeky Gadgets.

WiGig is embedded on an SD memory card, and Panasonic has revealed how it can be used to transmit videos, photos and other local data from a wireless controller such as a tablet, to the displays mounted in the passenger seats of a car. Watch the video after the jump to see it in action.

YAL Concept Watch Inspired By Tron

Watch makers TokyoFlash are currently taking votes on whether or not to create the YAL Concept Watch, which has been designed by Yoann from France.

The YAL watch as you can probably guess from its design has been inspired by Tron, and uses a number of blue LEDs to tell the time. For example 5 LEDs in the middle, 2 LEDs in the outer branches, 2 more LEDs on the left and PM indicator on = 5h + (2×5)mn + 2 mn + p.m

Simon Dale a 32 year old UK man has built his very own Hobbit House for his family after becoming fed up with increasing mortgage repayments.

The construction of the very unique Hobbit style house took Dale just four months and only £3,000. When Dale started the project he had no experience in building or architecture. But armed with just a chisel, a chainsaw and a hammer, together with scraps he could scavenge from skips, he’s created a fantastic house for his family any Tolkien fans would be proud of.

Atmel maXStylus Allows Simultaneous Touch and Stylus Operation (video)

A new stylus has been unveiled this week by Atmel called the maXStylus which has been designed to revolutionise the way we use tablet stylus devices with touch.The maXStylus, has been created to enable users to easily perform touch gestures with one hand, while using the stylus to writing and draw in the other.

The maXStylus stylus accomplishes this by using a multiSense functionality via a single indium tin oxide (ITO) sensor. Allowing one sensor to detect both touch and stylus operation, where normally two sensors would have been required. Watch the video after the jump to see it in action.
