The latest iPhone rumor doing the rounds is that O2 are about to lose their exclusivity for the iPhone 3G.

It is being reported that other UK mobile phone operators, namely Orange and T-Mobile are in talks with Apple [AAPL] over stocking the iPhone 3G, and that the iPhone 3GS will stay with O2 on an exclusive deal.

We haven’t really heard much about the rumored Apple [AAPL] netbook for a while now, it seems a new rumor has started and that Apple may be releasing a netbook in October.

According to Taiwanese news site Info Times, Apple may reveal a netbook which will features a 9.7 inch touchscreen display, which is slightly smaller than the current industry standard 10 inch screens.

If you bought an iPhone 3G when they came out in the UK in 2008, and now want to purchase the new iPhone 3GS it is going to be expensive.

Existing iPhone 3G owners who want to upgrade to the iPhone 3GS will have to buy themselves out of their existing O2 contract, assuming you purchased your iPhone 3G on the 11th of July 2008 (launch day), you will have to pay a minimum of £245 ($395), this is based on the cheapest iPhone 3G Plan of £35 per month.
