The Sling Player for the Apple iPhone has been out for quite some time now, but unfortunately it wouldn’t work over 3G with AT&T as AT&T claimed that it would use up to much of their bandwidth.
Good news if you have been waiting to use your Sling Player over 3G as AT&T have announced that Sling Player users will be able to use it over 3G when the next version of the application is released.

Since the release of the latest iPhone SDK 3.2, which now allows VoIP calls over 3G, we have seen a number of companies announce that they intend to bring the feature to the iPhone and Skype is the latest one.

UK mobile phone operator O2, who has the exclusive contract to sell the Apple iPhone since it was launched in 2007, until recently, has announced that it has sold over two million iPhones in the UK.
According to O2 their iPhone sales are still very strong, even though you can now buy an Apple iPhone in the UK from other mobile phone operators like Vodafone and Orange, and even Tesco, although the Tesco contract is actually an O2 one.

The guys over at Engadget have spotted some new codenames in the latest Apple [AAPL] iPhone SDK for a couple of new devices which could relate to the next generation of the Apple iPhone and iPod Touch.
The codenames were found in a set of folders within the platform simulator in the SDK, the codename N89 was spotted which according to Engadget refers to the next generation Apple iPhone.

We have seen quite a few of Stuart Hughes’s creations here at Geeky Gadgets, the latest one is an iPod that is going to set you back a cool $95,000.
Although it is slightly cheaper than some of his creations, like the $3.2 million iPhone 3GS. The iPod SUPREME Rose Edition is covered in 263 grams of 18ct rose gold, and if that wasn’t enough for you it also features a platinum Apple logo which has 53 VVS1, color F diamonds.

Apple [AAPL] has updated its iPhone OS to a new version, 3.1.3, which is supposed to bring a number of fixes to the iPhone OS.
iPhone OS 3.1.3 contains a couple of bug fixes, one of which is improved battery level reporting, although we haven’t had a chance to test this one yet to see what difference it makes.

LaCie has announced a new range of protective cases for the Apple MacBook and the Apple iPad, the LaCie Coat and LaCie ForMoa.

Logitech has released a new application for the Apple iPhone and iPod Touch called Logitech Touch Mouse.
The Logitech Touch Mouse iPhone App turns your iPhone or iPod touch into a wireless track-pad and keyboard for your PC or Mac, and it works just like a standard mouse, and keyboard you can point, scroll, click and type from a distance.

Since the Apple [AAPL] iPad was launched last week, we haven’t heard much in the form of Apple Tablet rumors, now Tech Crunch are reporting that the Apple iPad is just the first Apple Tablet and there with also be other versions available in the near future.
According to Tech Crunch Apple may also be working on a larger tablet, possibly a 15 inch version that will run a version of Mac OS X and will be more like an Apple Mac than the iPhone.
