Call of Duty: Ghosts has achieved $1 billion in sales in its first day, which is nice, but the game has it’s share of bugs. The PlayStation 4 version apparently suffers from frame rate issues. However, that isn’t all. It is looking like the developer has been very sloppy with this title. It looks like Infinity Ward cut some corners in fact.
YouTube user satantribal noticed that the developer has reused motion capture data from the ending of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2, and stuck it in Call of Duty: Ghosts. You can see from the comparison video above, that there’s no doubt Infinity Ward reused motion capture data from Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2. Considering the prices of new games, you would expect all new footage and it just looks like they were being lazy. Then again, who knows? Maybe something got messed up and they had to do this.
Just know that if you play the game and this looks familiar, it isn’t just you. It really is the same scene. I wonder what else users could find if they looked hard enough. I haven’t played the game yet myself, but it looks pretty good, aside from this weirdness.
