BlackBerry previously cut a number of jobs at the company as part of John Chen’s restructuring and now the company has announced another round of job cuts.

“As BlackBerry moves into the next stage of its turnaround, we remain focused on driving efficiencies across our global workforce,” Kara Yi, a spokeswoman for BlackBerry, said in an e-mailed statement Monday. “As a result, some employees have been impacted.”
BlackBerry have been trying to turn their fortunes around since John Chen took over at CEO, one thing he has been focused on is making the company more profitable by cutting costs.
