We recently saw 17 minutes of gameplay footage from Battlefield 4, but aside from that we don’t know much about it. Except that it will give the Nintendo Wii U a miss of course. Well, now we have some more news about Battlefield 4.
It looks like the game itself will come with at least one DLC down the road. A leaked promotional image for Battlefield 4 was spotted, where it teased a “Drone Strike Expansion Pack” DLC which will arrive alongside pre-orders.
“Battlefield 4 incorporates many of the series’ popular multiplayer game design elements into the single-player campaign. In single-player, gamers will experience huge environments, a playground of destruction, access to an arsenal of vehicles, and the ability to direct squad mates. Taking a page from the social aspect of multiplayer gaming, the single-player mode will now track players’ progress via leaderboards, adding an element of persistence and friendly competition to the campaign.”
This special DLC bonus and the game, are set to arrive later this fall, even though for fans, that is a long wait. At least we know what to expect, if not the finer details.
