If this thing ever gets to production its going to take up half your box and cost as much as a small car. Overkill perhaps?

@ Zero Kill – I agree it is slightly over the top, but I guess companies make protoypes like this to generate press, mind you with the products Asus are coming out with lately it wouldnt surpsrise me if this goes into production.

But why? I could hardly understand spending as much money to build a new rig just to power the darned thing, let alone keep it from dying inside a month. One 8800 GT is worth the money and time, the innovation is awesome and I applaud that effort, but come on.

That would be what I’d call a “beast” of graphics card!….probably still couldn’t run Crysis though!
