Get rid of the LCD screen and give me an HDMI output instead so I can connect it to my TV. Perhaps leave a small cheap LCD screen for answering phonecalls and doing the calls without turning the TV on and selecting input first (good for answering a call quickly). Also make the webcam small and external so I can mount it on top of my TV.

CAN I TAKE THE AIGURU SV1 WITHOUT ITS CRADLE TO A FRIENDS HOUSE 3MILES AWAY WHO HAS WIFI IN THERE HOUSE.WILL IT WORK AS A PORTABLE VIDEO PHONE THERE……………..

Also worth mentioning that you can use it on secured internet, but not unsecured like you would get in an internet cafe, because there is no web browser.

But, you know, this is not meant to be a portable phone, if you want to do that , buy something portable!

I agree that this is a fantastic product and works well, gives good results and other (pc users) say the picture is better than your average skype.

Its worth mentioning that the product has a fatal flaw. The wifi disconnects after a variable period, and you have to re-enter the wep key to reconect. A work around may be simply to use the wired connection. This is a particularly bad blemish on a product that we might all buy for our ellderly parents.
