Apple To Replace Dead iPad Batteries With A New iPad

Apple [AAPL] has a new solution for dealing with dead batteries on its new iPad, instead of having to send off your device for a new battery or wait for a replacement one, Apple will give you a brand new iPad for a fee of $99.

You will be able to arrange of a replacement iPad over the phone or take your iPad into an Apple store, and receive a brand new iPad in exchange for your one with a dead battery.

This will apply to iPads that can no longer hold a charge, and there are a couple of conditions, which include that your iPad must be in good condition, so don’t expect to take one in that has been scratched all over and get a replacement.

This seems like a good solution for battery problems on the iPad, Apple should think about offering this solution on some of their other hardware as well.
