Man, this whole thing about signing petitions for the White House is ridiculous. Earth to Americans. The White House is going to do what it wants to do no matter how many people sign your petition. So, it is in my opinion worthless. You may have heard that they raised the number of people needed for petitions as well(Thanks to the whole “Let’s get the government to build a Death Star” thing.)
That was a great excuse to up the number of petitioners required for anything. My point is, that the whole thing seems pretty stupid. But wait, it gets dumber. The government should not be petitioned to pull games from store shelves. That isn’t what the Founding Fathers had in mind.
A group of gamers has created a petition on The White House’s official site specifically to rid the United States of DmC Devil May Cry. Not because it is violent. Not because it promotes violence or has gore, but because they “did not want nor need this reboot” and they “believe it violates our rights to have a choice between the original’s or the reboot.”
We are truly living in an idiocracy.
