AMD Eyefinity Multi Monitor System

AMD has unveiled a new multi monitor system, that will allow you to use up to 6 monitors as one large display with a single graphics card, the AMD Eyefinity Multi Monitor System.

The AMD Eyefinity Multi Monitor System will come with all new Direct X11 graphics cards, and it basically lets you set up 6 monitors as a single display as long as the arrangement of the multiple displays form a regular rectangle.

This is great news, I am currently using three monitors, and it was a right pain to setup, and quite expensive having to buy more than one graphics card, having an out of the box solution that doesn’t require additional hardware would be really handy.

There is one small drawback to a multi monitor setup, the bezels, but apparently AMD is working with Samsung to produce a range of monitors with ultra slim bezels, designed to be used with the Eyefinity system.
