Always Innovating Touch Book – Combination Netbook – Tablet PC
Here’s a new product from Always Innovating, which might just shake up the netbook World, the Always Innovating Touch Book.
The Touch Book looks like a standard 8.9 inch netbook, but it is slightly different than the current netbooks that are available today as it features a detachable screen that transforms the netbook into a fully functional tablet PC.

What is interesting about this netbook / tablet PC is that you will have the choice of purchasing the Tablet PC on its own for around $300 or you can also purchase it with the keyboard attachment which transforms it from a Tablet PC into a Netbook for around $400.

Always Innovations are claiming a very impressive 10 to 15 hours of battery, which comes from two sseperate batteries, one in the keyboard attachment and one in the Tablet PC.

Here is a list of the specifications.
- 9.4″ x 7″ x 1.4″ for 2 lbs (with keyboard)
- ARM Texas Instruments OMAP3 chip
- 1024×600 8.9” screen
- Storage: 8GB micro SD card
- Wifi 802.11b/g/n and Bluetooth
- 3-dimensional accelerometer
- Speakers, micro and headphone
- 6 USB 2.0 (3 internal, 2 external, 1 mini)
- 10h to 15 hours of battery life
The Always Innovating Touch Book is expected to go on sale at the end of May, beginning of June, and the manufacturers are taking pre-orders now on this new combination Netbook / Touchscreen PC.
