If you are looking forward to the Wii U’s new tablet style controller, then check this out. A tester tweeted an image of a slightly different Wii U controller than the one seen at E3 2011. The picture was accompanied by the tweet “look what we have at work!”
It is a wider looking Wii U tablet featuring two full-sized analog sticks, a pair of unmarked squares, and a new right side home for the controller’s plus and minus buttons. Sadly the tweet was pulled, but at least Joystiq got the screenshot first.
What does it mean? We don’t know yet. Could be the finished tablet or a prototype. We will just have to wait and see. At this point you would think that it is the final design.
