Altec lancing is launching a USB version of its popular travel speaker, the Altec Lansing Orbit USB.

The Altec Lansing Orbit USB is powered by USB, and is designed to be used with your laptop or netbook to provide a better sounds whilst listening to music, watching videos or playing games.

Altec Lansing Orbit USB is very similar to the previous models, it is round and is designed to provide 360 degree sound and it features a retractable stand so you can direct the music to wherever you want.

The Altec Lansing Orbit USB will go on sale in October for £39.99 about $49.95.
