Aiptek Launches a Tiny Pocket Video Projector – The PocketCinema V10
With technology getting smaller and smaller, there are some great gadgets being launched, the latest one is from Aiptek with their pocket projector, the PocketCinema V10.
As you can see from the photo the PocketCinema V10 is tiny compared to standard projectors. It uses technology developed by 3M which we featured on the site before.

This tiny projector can project an image up to 50 inches, which is pretty impressive. It comes with 1GB of internal storage, not a lot for movies, but there is also a built in multi card reader which can read SD, MMC and MS Pro cards.
It will support JPEG, AVI and MPEG-4 files and also features a built in stereo speaker.
Unfortunately those are the only details available at the moment, there is no word on price as yet.
I have to admit this is a pretty cool gadget, but I can imagine as with all new technology when it is launched it will be pretty expensive.

I wonder how long it will until this is an add-on feature to a laptop, kind of like a webcam was. Just imagine doing a presentation and not having to lug around a separate projector.
