HyperMac Fights Back With Cable-Chopping ‘Magic’ MagSafe Adapter

After a legal battle with Apple, restricting HyperMac from using the patented Apple MagSafe connectors on its products. HyperMac has become even more inventive and has created new ways to use and charge their line of portable power packs for Mac laptops.

Earlier this month they released a method using Apple’s Magsafe Airline Adapter to be able to charge your devices using their battery packs and today HyperMac have released another gadget to help. The HyperJuice Magic Box a device that allows you to safely modify and chop-up the cable off your own MagSafe power adapter and use it with HyperMac’s batteries.

Google Looking To Increase Android Market Purchases

It seems that Google is less than happy with the performance of the Android Market, particularly with the amount of applications being purchased aside from a few premium applications.

Google is looking to make a number of changes to the Android Market, in a hope to increase the amount of applications that are purchased, these will adding an in app payment system, similar to the one Apple uses for its iOS apps.

10 Inch Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 To Launch At MWC 2011?

We already know that Samsung is working on new versions of its Galaxy Tab Android tablet, we have head that there will be a new Samsung Galaxy Tab 2, and now it looks like there may also be a larger 10 inch version.

Notion Ink Adam UI gets Ported To Viewsonic Tablet (Video)

The Notion Ink Adam tablet recently started shipping out to customers, and now the guys over at the XDA forum have managed to port the Notion Ink Adam UI onto a Viewsonic GTablet.

Notion Ink released some fix files for customers who had managed to brick their Adam tablet, and the XDA developers used these files to bring the UI to the GTablet.

50 Percent Of iPhone Apps Can Track User Data

According to a recent study by the Technical University of Vienna, around 50 percent of iPhone apps are capable of tracking user data including your iPhone’s unique device ID.

It should be pointed out that the study was conducted using a total of 1,400 iPhone applications, and it found that over 50 percent, 750 of those 1400 apps collected the 40 digit unique iPhone identifier.

Samsung Galaxy Fit And Galaxy Gio Smartphones Announced

As well as announcing the new Samsung Galaxy Ace and Samsung Galaxy Mini, Samsung has added another two new Galaxy smartphones to their line up with the launch of the Samsung Galaxy Fit and Samsung Galaxy Gio.

First up is the Samsung Galaxy Fit, which comes with a 3.31 inch QVGA display, a five megapixel camera and a 600MHz processor, and a 3 megapixel camera, it will be available in Russia next month and other European countries shortly after.
