Microsoft Windows 7 Coming With Browser Choice In Europe
Microsoft [MSFT] and the European Union have come to an agreement over the bundling of Internet Explorer with Windows 7. Microsoft will offer a choice of browsers to Windows 7 users in Europe which will include Internet Explorer, as well as other popular web browsers like Firefox, Google Chrome, Safari and Opera.
Getac V100 Tablet PC Gets Multitouch Display
Getac, makers of rugged PCs have announced the launch of the Getac V100 Tablet PC, with a multitouch display that can be used with or without gloves. The Getac V100 features a resistive multitouch display, which means users can use the touchscreen with gloves, unlike devices like the iPhone which use a capacitive touchscreen.
