As usual there has been lots of cool and interesting gadgets featured on geeky gadgets over the past week. Unfortunately I haven’t been able to cover them all, so here is a round up of some of the coolest gadgets and some other cool stuff that we missed this week.

Here’s a fun geeky accessory which will add some geeky style to your apartment, the Rubik’s Cube salt and pepper mills. These fun salt and pepper mills are shaped like Rubik’s Cubes and your turn the top of the cube just like a real Rubik’s Cube to grind the salt or pepper.

Check out this cool UMPC mod which is based on an Asus Eee PC 701. It features a touchscreen with a stylus, and custom casing that looks so good you would think it was made by Asus themselves.

Here’s another fun geek toy, the Hovering 4 Channel RC Jump Jet. This fun radio controlled toy has 4 mini propellers and a built in solid state accelerometer to keep it nice and steady whilst it hovers and moves about.

Here’s a fun geeky accessory for your apartment, that will remind you of the gold old dial-up modem days, The Downloading Rug. This fun rug was designed by Richard Hutton and is intended to remind you what images used to look like when they failed to load over a dial-up modem.
