Fujifilm has launched a new compact digital camera the Fixepix A850.

The Finepix A850 features an 8.1 Megapixel CCS sensor and 3x optical zoom.

Images are view by the built in 2.5 inch LCD screen. It also feature 14 different screen modes and a 30fps video mode.

Check out this geeky watch phone, the CECT WRIST.

The CECT Wrist is a quad band watch phone covering 850 / 900 / 1800 / 1900 MHZ bands and it features a 1.3 inch LCD display with 260,000 colours.

The screen is also a touch screen which is used to control the CECT WRIST functions.

It also features an FM Radio and will play video (MP4) and music (MP3) files. It features a built in 1.3 megapixel camera and also bluetooth.

The coolest part about the CECT Wrist watch phone is the keypad is built into the strap, and from all the watch phone’s I have seen so far this one seems to be the most impressive.

Here’s a fun and unusual PC case mod, using a beer crate.

Moder Mortal form Techpowerup forums decided to use his laptop for the mod, the specs include a P4 wilamette, 4×128mb RIMM, s3 32Mb, seagate 40gb and a combo drive.

As you can see i’ve took beer case and made my laptop from it I’ve designed it into two levels on first is PSU screwed into bottm asvell HDD. Rom is mounted to top of psu. Then on second level is MBO with all acessories. MBO is screwed into plexiglas so it can move it with it.

This is a great fun mod, it is amazing some of the things people will make a PC out of.

Check out these cool homemade speakers, made my moder Ed Lewis (Fungus Amungus) from Instructables.

Ed used a custom vinyl doll called a Munny doll from the vinyl miniature creators over at Kidrobot.

As the dolls Ed wanted to use were vinyl, they were extremely hard to cut, so he used a heat gun to heat up the vinyl and then was able to cut the face of these cute little dolls to make room for his speakers.

He then used a set of 3 inch Tang Band bamboo speakers which fit perfectly into the butchered doll.

This is great mod and these would look really cool sitting next to your PC, if you want to make your own head on over to Instructables for full instructions.

Check out this cool PC mod from moder DSchrubbe.

He used an old portable TV from the 1950’s to house this clever mod.

Originally a 1957 Setchell-Carlson P-62 portable television, this great chassis now houses a PC and flatscreen monitor. Wi-Fi, a wireless keyboard, and wireless mouse reduce clutter. I hope to modify the peripherals to a similar style (one day).

Now all he needs is a retro looking mouse and keyboard to go with this cool PC mod.

The Bestlink Alpha 400 features a 400MHZ Xburst CPu, 128MB of Ram and a choice of either 1GB or 2GB of flash storage.

It features a 7 inch display with a resolution of 800 x 400 and will run Linux or Windows CE.

There is also the option to expand the storage via an SD card, unfortunately there is no WiFi built in but it does come with a WiFi dongle.
