Check out this cool concept mobile phone from designer Chris Owens.

The Edge phone is designed for the style conscious fashionistas. The name has nothing to do with data speed. In fact we don’t even know what this phone is capable of because as with all fashion phones, looks rein supreme and the Edge phone makes sure you notice with its glowing glass keyboard.

To answer an incoming call, slide the glass keyboard out. An embedded LED illuminates the etched numerics via refraction creating a glowing effect.

The only visible lines is the microphone wiring which designer Chris Owens has cleverly disguised as a keyboard border.

This has to be one the craziest case mods I have seen so far a the iToilet.

Yes a couple of guys used an actual toilet for a case for their PC, then sprayed it silver and added an Apple Logo.

What happens when a normal person finds a toilet along a street?
Most probably he wouldn’t even notice it and for sure he wouldn’t pick it up…and bring it home…BUT
that’s what insane Apple addicted nerdz would do:

LG has released a new mobile phone in Korea, that features an AMOLED Screen, the LG-SH150A.

The AMOLED (Active Matrix Organic Light Emitting Diode) screen provides a sharper image with a faster response time of up to 1,000 times that of current LCD mobile phone screens.

The LG-SH150A is a HSDPA enabled slider phone with a DMB TV tuner, an electronic diary, TV out and various other features.

The LG-SH150A will go on sale in Korea for around $49, no word on when we may see it in the US or Europe.

Linutop has released a new version of their popular tiny Linux PC, the Linutop 2.

This new version, the Linutop 2 features a faster 500MHZ Geode Processor, 512MB of RAM and 1GB of Flash along with a new optional VESA mounting bracket.

Like the Linutop 1, the Linutop 2 features audio I/O, speakers, 10/100 Ethernet, and four USB 2.0 ports, with optional USB WiFi.

The Linutop 2 offers 2D graphic acceleration as well as VGA output at resolutions up to 1920 x 1440. The device is available with an optional mounting bracket that enables it be strapped onto the back of an LCD display.

The Linutop 2 comes with a modified version of the Xubuntu LiveCD version of Ubuntu Linux is stored on the new allotment of 1GB of internal flash memory, there is also productivity software, which leaves 400MB free for other software and data.

The Flash storage can be expanded up to an additional 1GB with a USB key, The Linutop 2 will go on sale for around $400.
